Sri Lanka won out in Group B with a perfect record; at the same time, Bangladesh was right behind with key victories.Afghanistan did put up a brave fight but came up just short of the Super Four stage, although they had a good net run rate.
Super Four and Final
At the Super Four stage, we saw India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. In this phase, which had large-scale implications for the teams’ prospects, the caliber of play also went up a notch.
