In Afghanistan played 3, won 1, lost 2, net run rate +1.241, points 2.
Hong Kong 3 played, 0 won, 3 lost, NRR -2.151, Points 0.
Sri Lanka won out in Group B with a perfect record; at the same time, Bangladesh was right behind with key victories.Afghanistan did put up a brave fight but came up just short of the Super Four stage, although they had a good net run rate.
Super Four and Final
At the Super Four stage, we saw India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. In this phase, which had large-scale implications for the teams’ prospects, the caliber of play also went up a notch. India kept their perfect record alive, and we also saw Pakistan secure the second position in the final, which they achieved by defeating Sri Lanka in what turned out to be a key match.

Each of the venues had great facilities and saw very packed stands throughout the event. Dubai in particular did very well to put on the main stage for the tournament, which also saw the opening match and the final.
At every venue, the atmosphere was charged; we saw support from many nations, which created a global cricket experience. Also, the organization of the event, quality of the pitch, and timing of the games won over players and fans, which is a fact.
