Chala Hawa Yeu Dya is one such Marathi show that in no time left its old life as a television comedy show to become a cultural phenomenon. With its hilarious skits, celebrity interviews, and a cast to always make you laugh, it’s become a weekly show for large family audiences in Maharashtra.
At the helm of the show is Dr. Nilesh Sable, who expertly weaves charm, wit, and earthy humor into his show. By profession, Nilesh holds a degree in Ayurveda, but life on the set comes naturally to him for his down-to-earth spirit and perfect comic timing.
She is one of the most multifaceted actors on the show, Shreya Bugde. Whether she is playing coarse aunty, clamoring neighbor, or soft-spoken village girl, she completely slips into every character. Plus, she has impeccable comic timing and versatility. Thus, she is a huge asset to the sketches.

Kushal Badrike is the name itself that lights up the whole scene by his very existence. His wit is fast, sharp, and well-deserved. He inhabits the world of bizarre and beyond-mundane characters, but only in the strangulation of believability — thereby becoming the most enjoyable.
Then there is Bharat Ganeshpure, who is designed with Vidarbha-flavored Marathi and doused with a cadence of deadpan wit. He embodies the cynical one of the bunch — never short of roaringly humorous commentary.
Bhau Kadam (Bhalchandra Kadam) on air brings the nadir of innocence. His expressions, imitation of body language, and overtly simple way of saying silly lines make even the silliest joke sound different and funny.
He’s a woman, sure: Sagar Karande masters parody and character of mimicry-who usually does female roles in every skit with aplomb. His transition in every sketch is astounding.
Old school members included Vinit Bhonde, and the newer entrants like Manasi Naik, Priyadarshan Jadhav, Aishwarya Sonar, and Snehal Shidam have injected new energy into the mix.
