Ann is married to Mark Mamula, who is a distinguished medical professor and researcher at a top university medical school. Their marriage is built on respect and support, and they have been together for several decades. Biography
After graduating from Purdue’s journalism program, she went on to report for local news in the Midwest and South, which is where she eventually landed in Connecticut. She is known for in-depth, warm reporting that focuses on community stories.
Ann also has a very popular interview show, which we know as “NYBERG”, in which she puts forward key and inspiring figures from many different fields. This platform is a stage for her passion for in-depth storytelling, which steps out of the traditional news box. Also to her credit is the founding of Network Connecticut, which is a digital project to bring to light stories and talent from all over the state.
Her honours include multiple award nominations and also induction into the Silver Circle by the regional television academy, which recognised her for her outstanding contribution to journalism.
